FAQs

Common questions about pelvic health physical therapy and what to expect at Reynolds PT.

What conditions do you treat?

We focus on pelvic health and function for women, including pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, prenatal and postpartum concerns, diastasis recti, and SI joint pain. If you're unsure whether we can help, schedule a call to discuss your situation.

Is physical therapy safe during pregnancy?

Yes. Pelvic health physical therapy is safe and beneficial during pregnancy. We work with you to address discomfort, prepare for birth, and support your body through the changes of pregnancy.

How long are appointments?

Initial evaluations are typically 60 minutes. Follow-up sessions are scheduled based on your individual needs and treatment plan, usually 45-60 minutes.

When should I start postpartum physical therapy?

You can begin postpartum physical therapy as soon as you feel ready, typically within the first few weeks after delivery. We recommend an evaluation before returning to exercise or high-impact activities.
